The Methodists in the UK have been meeting up. High on their agenda was the Israel/Palestine situation and the outcome of this was a proclamation by their annual Conference that Israel’s continued occupation of Palestinian territories is the “key hindrance” to security and lasting peace in the region. Practical action followed - they voted to boycott all products from Israeli settlements in the "Palestinian territories" and encouraged Methodists across the UK to do the same.

Keep an eye on the Methodists. Watch the news over the coming days. Our God is not to be mocked. Watch, then decide. Do the research.

We were members of the Methodist Church for many years. We tell as many friends as we can about facts we hear
from Revelation T.v. and from your and other web sites.

Do not grieve over the sins of the church, dear sister, but rejoice in the Lord always. Like the Good Shepherd that He is, He knows where the still waters are and will lead His sheep to them in these troubled times. Pray to God for continued discernment.

Hope my enormous error re. still waters in my original response to Betty will be quickly corrected. Goes to show how important one tiny word can be - small wonder that God hates gossip. Hear Jacob Prasch sermon on Psalm 23.

Correction to my note on Gaza - from mustard seed

Woke up this morning with horrible feeling I had made an error - sure enough, on checking. What I should have written, of course, was that the Good Shepherd leads his sheep from the still waters - not 'to them'. ('by' in the English interpretation of this wonderful Psalm) Still waters run deep and although they look inviting are a danger to sheep. He leads us to the living waters, and there really is a mountain to climb to reach them. No easy way.
Apologies for my slip - had been singing that Psalm for too long before I understood what I was singing !!
