Back to The Way - Day 319
Just saw the movie Agora with wifey. Very interesting and provocative, particularly in its depiction of Christians in the 4th Century AD. Before we start crying, "typical Hollywood negative portrayals!", the fact is that, once "Christianity" had power in the Western World, it sunk to the level of the pagans. So the scenes of "Christians" slaughtering pagans and Jews were probably accurate, as were their general demeanour and attitudes to those around them. For me it was a reminder that The Church HAD DEFINITELY LOST THE WAY!
Almost done with the new book - it's being proof-read at the moment and I'm starting to get feedback from folk who had read early manuscripts. If you think the last book stirred things up, you ain't seen nuffink yet!
HOW THE CHURCH LOST THE TRUTH ... mmm!

Back to the Way - Day 319
I think the time has come to go forward to the WAY as many seek to do Hebrews is a good place to start. You and 'wifey' and I - are the church, with Abraham as our Founder. Through him all nations will be blessed. God Bless.

RE day 319
Hello Steve and anyone else reading.
These are too be sure exciting and challenging times. I hope this summer to secure a copy of your book, How The Church Lost the Way, from our local B and N here in the USA. Personally I am between a rock and a hard place. Stuck in a main line church with wifey, finding opportunities for on line Messianic chat to be riddled either with outsiders trying to jam in, or software incompatibility, and moderators who could care less.
We used to sing, I have decided to follow Jesus,
no turning back, no turning back. Guess the reality of that chorus is very real for me.
How does one address the "lone wolf syndrome/"
Will keep an ear out for the movie Agora, and will keep coming back here often for sanity and course correction.
Oh by the way, heard a song on Christian radio called All The Earth by the Parachute Band, based in New Zealand, great sound! Thanks. Love all of you in Messiah.
