Do any members of the genealogies have any special significance for you?

Question 3.

I was excited to read the commentary concerning luke chapter 3 verse 38, and these geneologies contain four titles to Yeshua depicting who he is.
Several years ago, I took a survey course of the book of Ephesians, and chapter 1 in part discusses how God through Yeshua adopted us as his children.
That meant something to me because at birth I was premature and my parents decided to give the okay for my life to be nurtured medically! God in Jesus did much more to secure our life with Him!
About 3 years ago, I became aware of the perspective of being grafted in to the wild olive tree, Romans 11. Considering both points, we are special because of what God has done for us in Yeshua! Humanly we are a part of something monumental, not just made by a couple who conceived us. We are God's children,
we are one new man whose seed started with Abraham,
we are a part of ongoing creation which started with Godforming Adam,
Our King is Yeshua/God, who rules the universe and reigns forever.
Yes, these geneologies are significant and good esteem boosters too once we begin to understand what they depict.
Thank you.
