How do these 18 verses speak to you about Jesus?

Christ the Eternal Word

I once heard an exposition about this

It was taken from the Hebrew meaning

In the beginning

Was stated to literally mean

- BEFORE the dateless PAST

Before time was or even dated

The Word was, existed, outside time He created

I used to think, that there was nothing, but the nothing to me was represented by blackness

Nothing

Until a guy called Ryle

Shared

It was NOT before there was something there was darkness - representing nothing

But before the nothing

Was God

I then saw God as light and glory

In Himself existing before anything including the darkness of nothing

He was the I am

The origin meaning in Hebrew of Word

Was translated as - revelation

Revelation

Word IS revelation

The word is the revelation of god

So my little adding here

Says

Before the dateless past the revelation God

These 18 verses tell me about

These 18 verses tell me about the Deity and Divinity of Yeshua. He is Word, Breath and Voice of God, so inseparable is He from the Father. Grace and Truth elucidates the Torah of Moses for us. The Messiah brings the Torah to life, while removing its curse for disobedience as he transforms us from glory to glory.
Yeshua exegetes the Father for us.

John 1:1-18

* In the beginning...Word was God.

God has no beginning, so one should be cautious about the interchangeability of the two. The Creator was acting in time (He completed the creation in six days), while the Eternal God is above time. "Son" and "Firstborn" attributes point to a beginning. Revelation 3:14 says about Yeshua: "the beginning of the creation of God". "the firstborn of all creation." (Colossians 1:15).

* Considering the Messiah not a creation leads to a "person of God" and then to good old Trinity, which is a farewell to Hebrew roots.

* Gnosticism is rooted in Jewish Cabala and preaches salvation through knowledge - just as a matter of accuracy.

John 1:1-18

After reading week 2 of our Bible Study these verses take on added dimention. They offer me 6 ways to consider God and His Word as interchangeable or like we may think of a hand in a glove. They also indicate 6 ways that Yeshua is God and Yeshua is the Messiah. They also assure me that as I have received Him as my Savior, He enables me to live an abundant life day in and day out. One may do well to make a 7-day practice of reading these verses twice daily, and ask the Ruach HaKodesh to impress on your mind what it is He wants you to receive from these verses. I was somewhat taken back to consider that God had redemption of humanity in mind at the time of creation. My understanding was this occurred after the rebellion in the Garden of Eden, but then, that binds God in to time and perhaps "not a good idea." Yes, there is much to consider, and want to allow others the chance to share. Thank you.
