Col. 2:14
Many say sin was nailed to the cross others say Law was nailed to the cross.I read the verse to say Blotting out the ordinances against us.Could you e-mail me your answer to this verse.sgiuliano51@gmail.com also where is your congregation located thank you Steve
If we are under Grace how can we be as well under the Law?
This question Grace and Law seems to be most confusing.
to: Col.2:14
Perhaps someone has kindly responded direct, as you have asked. If not, I respond here. Make no mistake about it, Christ died for our sins, and to fulfill the Law!! His death was the sacrifice given once and for all, to cover the Law and all its minutiae, and through Him a new Covenant, with those all important, all embracing, first two Commandments was made. It is not an easy road. God makes demands upon us and we have to think deeply for ourselves as individuals while we continue to be frail and fallible human beings, not perfect, as was Jesus Christ. Only by Grace can we enter that relationship, not through any righteousness of our own, for we are sinners all That amazing mystery of God's Love and Mercy so freely given when we deeply repent and make a conscious decision to follow The Way, is a totally free choice given to all. It is a journey of a lifetime through a harsh and cruel world, but He will have a righteous people to inherit His Kingdom - not a people who simply follow rules and laws, but who worship HIm above all. There is always a price to be paid, and that is human pride. As to the question where is the congregaton - all over the world !! In a church without walls.
I hope this has been of some help to you and that your confusion will end, enabling you to go forward, finding renewed strength in Him.
God Bless,
Mustard seed
