The Scripture “every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord” is referring to end time judgment. There is no such thing as universal salvation.
RABBI JOSEPH KRESEFSKY answers
There is no such thing as universal salvation, at least not for those who are “lost.” Scripture, in many places, and this is why it’s important to study the scriptures from a Hebraic perspective, scriptures speaks in many places of a place known as She’ol – this is both in the Tanach and the Brit Chadasha. This verse of Romans 14:11, does not speaking of universal salvation, but that both the “living” and the “dead” will publicly acknowledge G_d. Even satan bows to Messiah and confesses that Messiah L_rd, but it doesn’t meant that satan is saved.
SANDRA JEFFERY answers
When it comes to Hell, Plato, the pagan Greek philosopher, taught that the soul was immortal and at death went to a specific place of agony; the Pharisees preached a graphic place of eternal torment, and the School of Hillel taught that the punishment of the ungodly would be temporal and eventually they would suffer annihilation. When Jesus appeared there were many pre-conceived ideas about death and the afterlife and in order to fully understand this subject, a person needs to study all concepts and angles of this issue including the meaning of the word hell in the culture and language of the time period. As for myself, I ask you these questions: Do we run to salvation to escape burning hell fire or are we drawn to our loving Creator’s kindness in salvation; do we believe in reincarnation where the soul never dies, or in being at sleep until our resurrection when Jesus Christ returns to judge all of humanity through his understanding of our hearts; do we believe Satan when he told Eve that by eating the tree of live she would not die, or do we believe that we die and are born to eternal life by God’s saving grace through Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us?
As far as a Universal salvation goes, possibly, but only for those who choose life when confronted with the truth. It all is choice, and if we choose not to want to live according to God’s righteousness, are we then choosing annihilation for ourselves? Lots to ponder on this subject...

Hell is a pagan concept. It
Hell is a pagan concept. It existed in ancient times and found its way into Jewish superstition. In fact Yeshua used an allusion to this pagan concept in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. If Hell existed why is there such an absence of naming it in Paul's epistles? Asserting that it exists because you want it to still equates clinging to the traditions of men. G_d is a consuming fire. And where in the context of the lake of fire is it eternal? No where! We have been deceived, all of us. Here's somethng for you to chew on: 2 Timothy 1:9 - the phrase "before the world began" is interesting. "world" is usually translated "eternity" elsewhere in scripture. But, it can't be used here because we can't have "before" "eternity"! This word is either "world" or "eternity" but not both. Don't be deceived. This word is "world" everywhere else too. Hence we must ask ourselves if judgement really lasts forever. Assertion: all judgement is redemptive in nature!!! The second death is the end of death, the grave, and sin; it is not the end of people. Yeshua died for the sins of the whole world. If you add a single word to that then you will suffer judgement! You cannot qualify it. Don't succumb to the traditions of men = doctrines of devils.
hell is a pagan concept
where are Hitler and Nero now? Do I expect to meet them in Heaven one day? That would be the greatest unjustice
hell is a pagan concept
Salvation is given to all who truly repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no evidence that Hitler or Nero did so repent.
