It’s been a while since I blogged, but I have some good news. After losing my job again (fourth time in last 3 years), I took a leap of faith – supported by my wonderful husband, and accepted part time work. The money is low, but the extra time means I could take a second job working for an agency, doing Care Work. Again, the money is low!
I should by rights have been going for an interview with a leading bank for a great job, the day I went for my first training session with the agency.

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
I had a real breakthrough with one of my sons, yesterday - I have been praying about my relationship with my younger son, mainly because he switched from being a clingy infant to being totally detached and distant, overnight. My other son remained warm and close, so I grieved the loss of my younger one’s dependence, feeling that as I was no longer needed, and actually I felt completely rejected, I had failed.

Beloved, ooh I was so mad yesterday!! Today, I can laugh all about it!! This is how it all began. In an effort to score some points, some months ago, my dear husband planted some pots of flowers for me. As I recall, he had killed his old motorbike and was angling for a new one – and I was not having any of it. But, we decided to compromise after said pots were planted and parity was restored!!

Beloved, I wanted to share something special with you and this is the scripture I was given - it’s perfect - Psalm 119 verse 94 starts off: “I am Yours, save me,” It just about says it all and it’s so simple!! What a blessing - I think I’ll pray it each day, when I wake up!!
